Lobelia studs

Several moons ago, when The Cove was just a dream, I glanced across our garden fence, my gaze settling upon a lovely Grannie willow tree.

I spent many an afternoon nestled in the shade of her strong boughs, listening to the stories of her seasons, discussing plants and flowers - her favourites being lobelia.

Even now, these many moons later, I can't help but see these delicate blooms and remember all of those golden afternoons.
